Leipzig
This year, more than 2,000 children from 17 institutions in Leipzig took part in our "Kids for Climate Action" campaign. Below we show you some of the results that were sent to us. Have fun reading!
The climate week of the elementary school "Schule am Leutzscher Holz" of the city of Leipzig was again very successful and the participation was huge. Great results were achieved by the children and they realized which positive effects they can achieve by a conscious handling of energy, food and mobility.
Together the following Green Footprints were collected:
Green Footprints: 4,449
Red Footprints for regional food: 616
Blue Footprints for saving energy: 504
In addition, the students of the "Schule am Leutzscher Holz" got creative and designed cardboard feet. On them they wrote their wishes for the climate conference. Next year, the Leipzig elementary school would also like to collect Green Footprints again.
